We are developing a blockchain-based crowdfunding feature that will allow investors from around the world to contribute any amount of capital to existing farms. This initiative is designed to help farms become cash-ready to operate and grow crops efficiently. Investors will receive a share of the farm’s profits based on their contribution, creating a decentralized and transparent way to support agricultural expansion.

15. What is Agribit.io's patented escrow system?

Agribit.io has a patented escrow system that guarantees secure transactions and trades between farmers and buyers. This system ensures that both parties fulfill their obligations before funds are released. Additionally, up to 30% of the escrowed funds can be made available to the farmer in advance, enabling them to begin planting crops and have access to seed funding to commence work. The 30% to be released is controlled by the Buyer (the Buyer determines the min and max amount to be released before work starts, but only a max of 30% can be fully pre-released to the farmer prior to crop planting), but is negotiated between the Buyer and Farmer within the Chat window between both parties.
